Who We Are Looking For

We're not after a particular CV or years of experience; we're after people who care about the ocean and want to help.
Whether you're a student looking to build skills, a professional with time to give, or simply someone who loves the sea, there's a place for you.

Ways You Can Help
There's a role for every skill. However, if you'd like to help, we can probably use it. Some of the ways our volunteers get involved:

Production & editing — Help shape episodes through audio or video editing, sound, and post-production.

Social media & content — Create posts, clips, and graphics that bring the ocean to people's feeds.

Research — Dig into topics, find potential guests, and help us get the facts right.

Outreach & coordination — Connect with guests and partners, and help keep things running behind the scenes.

Design & visuals — Lend your eye to artwork, branding, and the look of the show.

Show notes & transcription — Turn episodes into written notes and transcripts that make our content accessible to all.

Events & community — Help organize events and keep our community engaged and welcomed.
Have a skill we haven't listed? Tell us about it; chances are, there's a way to put it to good use.
What We Ask of You
We try to keep things flexible; most roles are remote and fit around your own schedule.
What matters most is reliability: that you do what you take on, keep in touch, and let us know if things change.
We'd suggest a commitment of around several hours a week, but we're happy to work with whatever you can realistically give.
Above all, we ask that you share our care for the ocean and bring a positive, collaborative spirit to the crew.

Ocean Revealed exists to bring the sea's most important stories to the surface, to help people understand the ocean, care about it, and act to protect it.
Through honest conversations with the scientists, explorers, and advocates who know it best, we turn big, complex issues into stories anyone can connect with.
We believe the more people understand the ocean, the more they'll fight to protect it.
As a volunteer, you're not just helping make a show. You're helping spread a message the ocean needs more people to hear.
