This Legal & Policies document governs your access to and use of Ocean Revealed, including our website, newsletters, podcasts, videos, memberships, communities, merchandise, digital products, educational resources, social media channels, and related services.
Throughout this document, "Ocean Revealed," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Ocean Revealed and any related d/b/a operations conducted under the Ocean Revealed brand.

## 2. Newsletter & Email Communications
Subscribers may receive newsletters, episode notifications, educational content, promotions, membership information, product announcements, surveys, and community updates.
Newsletters and broadcast emails are sent through MailerLite. Automated and transactional messages, such as account, membership, and billing notifications, are handled through Wix.
Subscribers may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time through the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Some account and transactional messages are necessary to operate your membership and may continue while your account is active.
## 3. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking Technologies
Ocean Revealed uses cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, and similar technologies to:

Membership benefits, pricing, features, and availability may change without notice.
Ocean Revealed reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for policy violations.
## 6. Payments, Billing & Refunds
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Paid memberships renew automatically until canceled.
Membership payments are final and non-refundable, including any unused portion of a billing period, except where a refund is required by law or in the case of a billing error. Full details are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy in Section 7 below.
Physical merchandise returns, where offered, are handled separately. Digital products and downloads are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.
## 7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
**Overview**
All membership payments to Ocean Revealed are final. We do not offer refunds for membership fees, including any partial or unused portion of a billing period. You can cancel at any time to stop future billing, and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
**Canceling your membership**
You can cancel anytime from your account. There is no cancellation fee and no contract. When you cancel, your membership stays active through the end of your current paid period, and you will not be charged again after that.
**Monthly plans**
Monthly memberships renew each month until you cancel. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next charge. The current month is not refunded.
**Annual plans**
Annual memberships are paid in full for twelve months. You can cancel anytime, which stops your membership from renewing at the end of the year. We do not prorate or refund unused months on an annual plan.
**Free membership**
The Shoreline tier is free. There is no charge and nothing to refund.
**Renewals**
Paid memberships renew automatically until canceled. Your plan renews at the price shown at the time of renewal unless we notify you of a change in advance.
**Billing errors and access problems**
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not access what your tier includes due to a problem on our end, email us at info@oceanrevealed.com within 14 days of the charge and we will make it right. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
**Your statutory rights**
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the laws of your own country, including cooling-off or withdrawal rights available to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Where those rights apply, they take precedence over this policy.
## 8. Merchandise & Digital Products
Ocean Revealed may sell physical merchandise, photography prints, apparel, educational products, digital downloads, courses, memberships, and related products.
Product descriptions are provided in good faith but may change without notice.
## 9. Donations
Ocean Revealed may accept voluntary donations that help fund our storytelling, production, and conservation focus. Because donations are gifts and not a purchase of products or services, they are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error or you were charged incorrectly, email info@oceanrevealed.com within 14 days and we will look into it.
Ocean Revealed is a media brand and not a registered nonprofit, so donations are not tax-deductible.
## 10. Educational & Informational Disclaimer
Ocean Revealed provides educational and informational content relating to marine science, conservation, wildlife, diving, exploration, travel, photography, ecology, sustainability, and ocean-related subjects.
Content should not be relied upon as professional:
- Legal advice
- Medical advice
- Financial advice
- Diving instruction
- Scientific consultation
- Conservation management guidance
- Emergency response guidance
Users remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.
## 11. AI Content Disclosure
Ocean Revealed may utilize artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, editing, workflow automation, image generation, transcription, translation, brainstorming, and content production.
Human review remains part of our publication process.

If users purchase products through affiliate links, Ocean Revealed may receive commissions at no additional cost to the purchaser.
Affiliate relationships do not determine editorial opinions.

Ocean Revealed works with sponsors and advertising partners who help fund our podcasts, videos, newsletter, and other content. Sponsored content may appear as host-read mentions, audio or video placements, newsletter features, social posts, website placements, or community features.
We disclose paid sponsorships clearly. Sponsorship supports our work but does not control our editorial decisions. We keep full editorial control over what we cover and how, and we decline or end partnerships that conflict with our conservation mission and brand values.
Sponsors do not receive access to member personal information as part of a sponsorship.
## 14. Intellectual Property Rights
All content owned by Ocean Revealed is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Protected content includes:
- Logos
- Branding
- Articles
- Videos
- Podcasts
- Photography
- Graphics
- Educational materials
- Newsletters
- Downloads
- Membership content
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or commercially exploited without written permission.
## 15. User Generated Content
Users may submit comments, suggestions, photographs, videos, messages, reviews, and community contributions.
By submitting content, users grant Ocean Revealed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and use such content in connection with our services.
## 16. Community Guidelines
Users may not:
- Harass others
- Post hate speech
- Spam communities
- Impersonate others
- Upload malicious content
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Promote unlawful activity
Ocean Revealed reserves the right to remove content and restrict access.
